People & Purpose
Welcome to the K-16 Central Coast Regional Collaborative!
We believe in the power of unity, where individuals with diverse backgrounds, skills, and experiences converge to shape a brighter educational landscape. Our "People and Purpose" page provides a high level overview of the foundational individuals, structures and institutions who form the collaborative effort.
Through innovative programs, collaborative initiatives, and a shared commitment to excellence, we bring together schools, colleges, non-profits, businesses, and local government agencies to address the unique educational and labor market needs of our region. Our collective efforts span from early childhood education to adult learning, and we are dedicated to ensuring that college and career readiness remains a cornerstone of our community's growth and vitality.
The Central Coast K-16 Regional Collaborative is a collective impact initiative of K-12, Community College, California State University, University of California, and industry partners who are coming together to address long-standing educational and economic inequities in the region.
Our dedicated leaders bring diverse perspectives, experiences, and expertise to the K-16 Central Coast Regional Collaborative. They inspire, motivate, and guide the work and foster an environment of equity and innovation. The backbone of our collaborative is a robust infrastructure that provides the necessary framework for our work and it ensures that our shared goals are achieved efficiently and effectively.
