Advanced Manufacturing Pathway

Turn ideas into real products through design, building, and problem-solving. Start at Carpinteria High School, Lompoc High School, San Marcos High School, or Pioneer Valley High School, where you’ll gain hands-on experience in areas such as engineering, agricultural mechanics, construction technology, product design, and fabrication.

Continue at Santa Barbara City College or Allan Hancock College to build your technical foundation with applied math, engineering, construction, machining, and manufacturing. Depending on your path, you can work with industry-standard tools, develop practical skills, and take on real-world challenges.

Then take your experience to UC Santa Barbara’s College of Engineering or Cal Poly San Luis Obispo for advanced engineering studies, research, and innovation. Along the way, you’ll prepare to create solutions and pursue careers in engineering, manufacturing, construction, and high-tech industries.
